Après le Tryptique Part I-Part II-Part III, le Kora Jazz Trio revient avec un nouvel album et une nouvelle formation : le KORA JAZZ BAND. Ce nouveau projet prolonge et approfondit les liens entre tradition mandingue et jazz.
Enregistré avec des invités prestigieux : Manu Dibango (marimba) et Andy Narell (steel-pans), le nouvel album Kora Jazz Band & Guests mêle compositions et reprises de classiques tels que All Blues (Miles Davis), Oye Como va (Tito Puente).
La sortie de ce nouvel opus est prévue pour Septembre 2011,
suivie d'un concert à Paris au New Morning le 20 Octobre 2011.

After the tryptic Part I-Part II-Part III, the Kora Jazz Trio is back with a new album, a new line up and a new name : KORA JAZZ BAND. This new project extends and deepens the connexion between African tradition and jazz;
Recorded with prestigious guests : Manu Dibango (marimba) and Andy Narell (steelpans), the new album Kora Jazz Band & Guests mixes compositions with covers of classics like All Blues (Miles Davis), Oye Como va (Tito Puente).
The record will be released in September 2011.
