LIONEL BELMONDO

Lionel Belmondo is one of the most renowned & innovative saxophonists in France.
His project "Hymne au Soleil" transcended the heritage of French classical repertoire and mixed it with the freedom of Jazz improvisation. The album received unanimous critical acclaim and several awards (Victoires du Jazz). With the "Hymne au Soleil" Ensemble the saxophonist recorded a double album with the great Yusef Lateef which led to an important international tour, and an album with Milton Nascimento.

In 2012, Lionel Belmondo formed a new trio, treating and playing important pieces of the Classical Repertoire (JS Bach, Maurice Ravel...) as Jazz Standards, just like American jazzmen did with the Broadway tunes.

GERALDINE LAURENT

Geraldine Laurent is a critically acclaimed saxophonist.
Her first album, "Time Out Trio" (2007) with a repertoire covering difficult tunes by Wayne Shorter, Charles Mingus, Ornette Coleman...received the most important Jazz awards (Victoire du Jazz, Django d'Or, Académie du Jazz...).For her second album, in Quartet, "Around Gigi" (2010) she chose to pay tribute to the music of saxophonist Gigi Gryce. The album was critically acclaimed winning several prizes.

In 2013, Geraldine Laurent,Christophe Marguet (dms) & Manu Codjia (g) will present their project around the music of Charlie Parker

CHRISTOPHE DAL SASSO

Christophe Dal Sasso is an influential flutist and arranger. He did arrangements for Lionel Belmondo's projects "Hymne au Soleil", "Influence" with Yusef Lateef, "Clair Obscur" and worked with many important French musicians.
He also released several albums under his own name, with his Big Band.

In 2013, Christophe Dal Sasso will present a new project and album, which uniquely mixes classical piano, spoken word and a jazz band !

CYRILLE AIMEE (Europe representation)

Cyrille Aimée is the new voice of Jazz ! She won 1st Prize at the Montreux Jazz Festival Competition, was Finalist of the Thelonious Monk Competition 2010, she won the 1st Sarah Vaughan International Competition...
At only 27, she already recorded an album with her band, 2 albums in duet with a Brazilian guitarist, toured with electroswing band Caravan Palace, recorded a live album with Roy Hargrove, and uses a loop pedal as an instrument !

She'll tour in Europe (March 2013 - Summer 2013) with her new band with whom she recorded her upcoming album.

ADRIEN MOIGNARD

At only 27, Adrien Moignard is considered one the best guitarists influenced by Django Reinhardt.
He already released 2 albums under his name, recorded an album with DR Big Band Copenhaguen, recorded 2 albums with the Selmer 607 project, toured with Tony Gatlif's Django Drom (with Biréli Lagrène, Stochelo Rosenberg, Didier Lockwood). He also released this year a beautiful album in duet with the great Gipsy guitarist Rocky Gresset
He just released a new album in Quartet "Between Clouds" (Dreyfus Jazz) where he goes beyond Django's legacy with compositions and covers of Marvin Gaye, Brad Mehldau, Jimi Hendrix...

MARCEL LOEFFLER

Marcel Loeffler is one of the best Gypsy accordionist. Influenced by Django Reinhardt. Coming from a Gypsy family, and practising the accordion from an early age, Marcel's virtuosity and technique led him to record several acclaimed "gypsy jazz" albums, to tour with Pop singers, to play JS Bach tunes with a classical orchestra, and to record contemporary Jazz albums.

In 2010, he released a tribute to Gus Viseur, one of the most influential accordionists, through his album in quartet "Around Gus" (Dreyfus Jazz).

BRADY WINTERSTEIN

Brady Winterstein in a young Gypsy Jazz prodigy ! in 2011, at 16, the guitarist recorded his first album, "Happy Together" demonstrating great virtuosity, with prestigious guests like Dominique Di Piazza, Marcel Loeffler, Adrien Moignard...
In Trio with his uncle Hono Winterstein (who plays rhythm guitar with Biréli Lagrène's Gipsy Project, with Dorado Schmitt...), Brady is a great descendant of Django Reinhardt's musical tradition.
He'll record a new album in 2013, in Quartet with the violonist Martin Weiss.
